Breckenridge Town Council should meet in gun-free schools

To Tim Gagen, Breckenridge town manager: I am responding to your concern that since the passage of SB25 (the concealed weapons bill), some honest concealed weapons carrier could come to your meetings.

I suggest that your council hold these meetings in a school. Then you will be as safe as you were from honest citizens prior to the passage of SB25. I also submit that if you or any member of your council were to, in your words “S start carrying and lay our guns on the table S” you would be guilty of “brandishing a concealed weapon” a crime that would be grounds for revoking your concealed carry permit.

In closing, I say that the fear by politicians of armed citizens is exactly why the Second Amendment was added to the Constitution.
