BRECKENRIDGE – Breckenridge Town Council on Tuesday extended the term for Buck Allen, the town’s municipal judge who’s served since 1992.

“I enjoy Buck,” Mayor John Warner said at Tuesday’s work session. “He’s a gentleman, and I don’t think we’ve heard any complaints about Buck.”

Allen, of Vail, said in a letter to council that he’s enjoyed working for the town and anticipates continuing the work.

“I appreciate the first-class staff of Breckenridge and I value our working relationship,” he said in the letter.

Municipal judge terms last at least two years, according to town code.
