Breckenrige Clean-Up Day coming on May 20 with picnic, giveaways

The countywide Town Clean-up Day is May 20, and Breckenridge volunteers can check in starting at 9 a.m. at Carter Park pavilion, according to the town.

Volunteers will receive bags, gloves and suggested areas to clean up. After check in, there will be coffee and breakfast burritos, courtesy of Breckenridge Market, for the participants before they head out to beautify Breckenridge. People are encouraged to bring their own coffee mugs.

After the clean-up, there will be a zero-waste picnic at noon at Carter Park, including a barbecue lunch courtesy of the Breckenridge Restaurant Association. Giveaways donated by various businesses and live entertainment by the Homegrown Mountain Jam will be provided.
