Brian Hegarty: Kudos to Summit High tutors

I always knew Summit County was a great place to live and after reading the article about Amanda Moore’s efforts to help other students at the high school it just got better!

Amanda has provided the leadership and organized a dozen fellow upperclassman to tutor freshmen that need help with their school work.

What Amanda and her friends are exhibiting is maturity, caring, thoughtfulness and a willingness to help others.

Approximately 40 students will benefit from the kindness of these young adults who are giving up their free time to participate in this worthwhile endeavor.

Amanda, her friends and all of their parents should be proud of themselves.

Their actions just go to show that there are really good young adults who are willing to step up and help their community and that there are parents who have guided their children to become responsible young adults.

Thanks Amanda for setting a great example for other young adults to follow and making Summit County a better place to live!
