Brian York: Fix Dillon Valley road now

Brian York

Last we heard from the Town of Dillon regarding the Little Beaver Trail closure, the repair work would start by the end of September. It’s now the second week of October. Nothing has been done ! How long ago did this hillside collapse? Does anyone else realize the traffic mess that Dillon Valley will become with only one exit in the winter?

I do, however, believe I have uncovered the true cause of the collapse. When Denver Water drilled holes in the dam for the large yellow posts on the bike path, they drilled into an old mine tunnel, which transported the water to the Walgreens property thus eroding the hillside and breaking the water main leading to the hillsides collapse.

So the mystery is solved. NOW FIX IT
