Builders group aligned with Summit Foundation

Daily News staff report

Summit County Builders Association (SCBA) has developed a community outreach program to raise money for The Summit Foundation. The foundation distributes the money through grants to area nonprofits in the fields of arts and culture, health and human services, education, scholarships, environment and sports. Four SCBA members have built playhouses that have been on display at area events. Playhouse tickets are available to purchase for $5 each or six for $25. This is a great way to support SCBA and the Summit Foundation. Last year, the group had a winner donate a playhouse. SCBA then donated it to a Head-Start Pre-school in Dillon Valley. For more information on the program, contact Jane Dvorak with the Summit County Builders Association, (970) 668-6013 phone, (970) 668-6014 fax, or e-mail to
