Bush is example why founding fathers separated church, religion

Yes we are in deep trouble with this figurehead president. But just how much, I don’t think we have a clue.

I was viewing a piece on Bush’s conversion to Christianity at the age of 39. After viewing several snippets, it appears our leader considers himself a near messiah, or at worst, an emissary of God put here on earth to do his work in ridding the world of the Satans – Iraq, Iran, N. Korea, etc. I really don’t believe the people of this country would have elected a Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson president, but it is becoming apparent this is what we have.

We are seeing now why the founding fathers in their infinite wisdom were in favor of the separation of church and state.

Bush has already embarrassed the president of South Korea by blasting his efforts to forge peace with North Korea. Bush has now taken us from a country that was beginning to be liked and respected around the world to one that is now scorned and ridiculed.

Sorry, Sen. Ben Nighthorse Campbell, we are not hated because we are free but because of a president who thinks he is a God.
