Biz briefs: Moet Hennessy Named Official Wine and Champagne Sponsor of Vail Resorts

Vail Resorts recently announced a new three-year sponsorship with Moet Hennessy, an importer and marketer of luxury wines and spirits in the U.S. The sponsorship makes Moet Hennessy the official wine and champagne sponsor of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone. The sponsorship started with the 2010-2011 season and continues through 2013.

“Vail Resorts is proud to have Moet Hennessy as Vail Resorts’ Official Wine and Champagne sponsor,” said Heidi Kercher-Pratt, chief marketing officer of Vail Resorts. “Moet Hennessy’s reputation for quality complements the guest experience at our mountain resorts and we’re excited about this sponsorship and are looking forward to working with Moet Hennessy.”

“Moet Hennessy is looking forward to the opportunity to expand its brand activation to the properties of Vail Resorts,” said Graham Boyes, executive vice president of brands at Moet Hennessy USA. “We are constantly searching for new ways to engage with consumers and believe that this sponsorship with Vail Resorts provides a unique opportunity to showcase our luxury portfolio to a discerning audience.”

As part of the sponsorship, Moet Hennessy will receive exclusive marketing and advertising rights as the official wine and champagne sponsor with Vail Resorts’ six world-class resorts. Moet Hennessy is also a key marketing sponsor of Vail Resorts events like CarniVail, in addition to further building Moet Hennessy’s own programs such as Clicquot in the Snow across Vail Resorts portfolio.
