Q: What type of business do you operate – what do you sell, or what service do you provide?

A: Brownz Tanning Studio is Summit County’s newest tanning studio featuring high quality tanning beds in a clean, friendly, and personalized environment.

Q: Where are you from, and why did you decide to open your business in Summit County?

A: I have lived in Summit County since 1996. I opened up in Summit County because I saw the need to bring high performance beds to the area. With the long winters and short summers we experience, it is nice to have a place to go and get some color. With an increasing number of people driving to Denver to fulfil their needs I wanted to give them a local option. I wanted to bring the next level of tan to the County.

Q: What sets your business apart from other similar businesses?

A: My studio features high performance level 2 and level 3 beds in a warm and inviting setting. I wanted to open up a place that people could come just to tan and know everyone else in the place was there for the same reason. I provide a quality product that produces results. Everyone wants to feel like they are getting what they pay for and with Brownz they will be happy with their end results. These high performance beds with help to achieve and maximize that perfect tan year round. The difference is in the beds the proof is in the tan!

Q: What types of customers do you hope to reach in Summit County?

A: I tried to make the studio an inviting place for both men and women. I want those in the county who may want to get a little color before jetting off to some place warm or just those people who want a place to come for a few minutes of their day and get a little dose of “sunshine.” From the serious tanners to the occasional tanners they will be happy they came here.

Q: What are your plans for your company’s future?

A: Expansion and upgrading is in every businesses goal. I want to make sure I do what’s right for the studio as I make those changes down the line.
