Q: What type of business do you operate – what do you sell, or what service do you provide?

A: Colorado Travel Master provides trip planning services to ensure that each client’s entire trip is worry free. Our diverse services include locating and booking lodging, scheduling airport shuttles, making reservations for activities, stocking groceries, delivering rental equipment and running errands. We’ll handle the to=do list while our clients enjoy their valuable vacation time. The website also contains a fountain of free advice, local information and local services ranging from babysitting to luggage shipping.

Q: Where are you from, and why did you decide to open your business in Summit County?

A: I grew up in Summit County. I was here before Keystone Ski Resort and I attended kindergarten through high school in Summit County. I spent several years in Denver working corporate jobs, but I always had the dream to escape back to Summit County. Now I have a business promoting the county where I grew up.

Q: What experience do you have in this field?

A: As a long-time local, my knowledge of the area and the contacts I have made along the way allow me to offer my clients unsurpassed service and local advice. My IT background and several years’ experience designing and developing websites has proven to be instrumental in getting my business online and visible to people planning trips to our county through online research. It has also taught me to have a keen ear when listening to customers, to develop an attention to detail, and to hone exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Q: What sets your business apart from other similar businesses?

A: My personalized service sets me apart. For instance, before I book lodging, I make a point of visiting each property personally so that I can answer questions and give the best advice to my clients. I personally follow up with every client during and after their stay to ensure that not only has my service been exceptional, but that the service of any of the companies I partnered with along the way has been exceptional. I strive to have firsthand knowledge of the activities, properties, and services offered on my website.

Q: What types of customers do you hope to reach in Summit County?

A: I cater to guests who value their vacation time and who do not want to spend it waiting in line at the grocery store, at the ski rental shop or waste it running errands.

Q: What are your plans for your company’s future?

A: I plan to continue to develop relationships with the exceptional service-related companies we have in the county as well as to develop relationships with private homeowners who could use a personal concierge as a “value-added” when renting out their properties. I would like to develop a solid base of repeat customers. I will continue to fine-tune the recommendations on my website for dining, activities, lodging and services. I want to continue to promote Summit County as one of the premier vacation destinations in North America for both winter and summer vacations.
