Q: What type of business do you operate – what do you sell, or what service do you provide?

A: There are always risks and a need for insurance – we specialize in commercial and personal lines of insurance. I am opening a Wall Street Insurance Agency in Summit County and will be collaborating with Wall Street Insurance, a well-established agency that has been in business since 1984 in the Vail Valley.

Q: Where are you from, and why did you decide to open your business in Summit County?

A: I am originally from New England, but have lived in Summit County for almost 15 years. I consider Summit my home. Wall Street offered me the opportunity to start a small agency that would allow me to utilize my risk management skills and knowledge of risk transfer, provide a service that focuses on customer service and satisfaction, and still enjoy all that Summit County has to offer.

Q: What experience do you have in this field?

A: I have more than 20 years insurance defense and risk management experience, with a professional designation in risk management and a strong working knowledge of risk transfer and insurance. Opening a Wall Street office in Summit will allow me to utilize my risk management skills in a positive way that will be a benefit our customers.

Q: What sets your business apart from other similar businesses?

A: Our focus is risk assessment and identifying the proper coverages depending on our customers’ needs. Wall Street strives to provide the best customer service possible, an extensive selection of insurance companies, and the flexibility to work within our customer’s schedule. We are available when the customer has time, including weekends and evenings. We are not a 9-5 business. We can handle complex insurance needs, as well as simple needs such as single car insurance policy. Bottom line: we provide, care, time and expertise.

Q: What types of customers do you hope to reach in Summit County?

A: Businesses as well as individuals looking for an agency that will give them the time and attention they deserve. I want our customers to understand how insurance works, what is being insured, and ultimately how their personal and/or business assets will be protected in the event of a loss.

Q: What are your plans for your company’s future?

A: My focus is ultimately customer service and satisfaction. By achieving this, I hope to establish a well-respected insurance agency that specializes in comprehensive and customized insurance portfolios.
