Frisco receives budget award
Frisco was awarded the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada’s Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its 2012 budget.
The award represents a significant achievement by the town and reflects the commitment of the governing body and staff to meeting the highest principles of governmental budgeting. To receive the budget award, the town had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. The awards program is the only national awards program in governmental budgeting. This is the fourth consecutive year the town has received this award.
