Daily News staff report

BRECKENRIDGE – Breckenridge-based Rocky Mountain Snowbike, Inc. has entered into a supply agreement with Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation to supply Brenter Snowbike products and instructor training for the 2009/2010 winter season. A quantity of Snowbikes were delivered and 20 Ski and Snowboard School Staff were trained on Dec. 1.

“This is a pilot program with plenty of room to grow” says Roger Hollenbeck, president of Rocky Mountain Snowbike, Inc. ” With lots of trained staff they will be able to start a new Snowbike program at this premier ski resort their guests will enjoy immensely.”

Instructors were trained in The new “Reflex” teaching method developed by Brenter Snowbike of Austria. This new teaching method enables guests to learn to ride safely and in control in less than 60 minutes.

Steamboat joins other Colorado resorts such as Keystone, Telluride, Winter Park, Vail Mountain and DMR at Purgatory who already offer Snowbiking.
