Online Tax Lien Sales Begin in Park County

Park County Treasurer Michelle Miller announced recently that the online auction of tax liens in Park County will begin at 8 a.m. Oct.15.

The Park County auction website is Bids can be submitted on the website as early as Sept. 20 and winners will be determined when the auction officially closes on Oct. 15.

“We believe the online auction will benefit Park County through cost reduction and world wide exposure. Although we have a large turn out for our auctions, many are physically unable to attend. This will allow buyers to bid from the comforts of their home or office regardless of weather and schedules,” Miller said. “Due to staff reduction, budget cuts and facility restraints we are looking forward to a cost effective solution for our tax sale.”

Training for Bidders is available online, and a live training class in Fairplay will also be held at 3 and 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at 501 Main Street in Fairplay.

Contact Realauction Customer Service at (877) 361-7325 to register for online training or the class.
