Women’s small business conference Thursday in Keystone

The Colorado Small Business Development Center, in partnership with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, is offering a seminar Thursday in Keystone focused on supporting on women in small business. The event offers one-on-one counseling, networking opportunities and multiple tracks for start-up women entrepreneurs or for existing business owners.

At the event, there will be numerous breakout sessions for attendees, including starting a business in the Internet age; funding a business; how to motivate anyone with confidence and fun; and self-care for women. The keynote speaker is Karyn Ruth White, a comedian and entrepreneur who brings more than 15 years of professional stand-up experience to her craft, as well as a front-line look at the inner-workings of business. This year, she is celebrating 15 years of her own Colorado-based company, Laugh and Learn Productions.

A networking reception will end the day.
