Busy Labor Day weekend blessed with great weather
September 5, 2010
FRISCO – The sun was shining, the wind was blowing and the streets were abound with visitors – Labor Day weekend was bustling Sunday in Frisco, as people took to the streets to enjoy the beautiful weather.
Dillon Reservoir was also full of boats, while sidewalks were teaming with pedestrians and bikers. It was High Country heaven – perfect weather, window shopping and plenty of recreation options.
A group of young people from Kansas were strolling around Frisco’s main drag around lunchtime, taking in the sites. They said they were here for a wedding at Copper Mountain and were looking for fun things to do.
“It’s gorgeous here,” said Dominique Wood.
The visitors from Kansas said they were heading to the Alpine Slide in Breckenridge, and they’d gone on a hike at Copper Mountain.
“Let’s move here,” Jessica Patterson said, with a smile.
