Call him "Biff France’: another example of the all-knowing elite liberal media

Bruce Stanley, Raleigh, N.C., vacationing in Summit County

In Biff America’s March 30 column, “I’ll have merlot with my escargot,” he strikes me as Summit County’s newest representative of the elite liberal media.

Sure, anti-war protesters have a right to their opinions, and I also have a right to boycott French products. But if I and other war supporters choose to boycott French products, Mr. America considers us to be “petulant children.”

This has the familiar tone of the all-knowing liberal media belittling the 70 percent of Americans who support the war.

Perhaps your columnist should consider changing his name to “Biff France.”
