Colorado Ski Country USA seeks entries from the state’s fourth-graders for an art contest.The winning design will be used in promotional materials for next year’s Colorado Fifth Grade Passport program.The program offers three free days of skiing or snowboarding at Colorado Ski Country’s 23 member resorts, equaling 69 free days on Colorado slopes. It is valued at more than $3,000.The challenge to fourth-graders is to submit artwork depicting the meaning of skiing or riding in Colorado. The artwork should be a minimum of 5 inches-by-7 inches and no larger than 9 inches-by-12 inches. Markers, paint and crayons are acceptable mediums. The artwork should be drawn on white paper and submitted unmounted. A vertical design and bright colors are suggested. Entries must be submitted by June 1.Submit artwork to CSCUSA Art Contest, 1507 Blake St., Denver, CO 80202 and include the child’s name, address, telephone number and school name. The contest winner will receive a ski or snowboard package from Colorado Ski and Golf.
