Carl Miller’s the one to best represent interests of Summit County

How refreshing, even inspirational, it was to read about Carl Miller in the Tuesday edition of the Summit Daily News.

Mr. Miller wants to be Summit County’s representative in the state Legislature. I hope he succeeds. He is an experienced “man of the people,” having already served three, two-year terms. He certainly knows about the politics of water and its distribution.

Before becoming a state representative, he was the executive director of the National Mining Museum in Leadville. Before that, he worked underground at the Climax Mine between Copper Mountain and Leadville. He is obviously a dedicated legislator who will work for the people of Summit County. It will be a pleasure for me to vote for him as our representative.
