Carriage House thanks Breckenridge Ski Resort & Timberline Learning Center
In a precautionary measure the Carriage House Early Learning Center moved the children away from the building on Oct. 28. This measure created a few logistical challenges that were made easier by the willingness of the Timberline Learning Center and Breckenridge Ski Resorts to open their doors and help. The Carriage House board, staff and parents would like to recognize and thank these two organizations for all their efforts in keeping the children safe. The Timberline Learning Center staff extended their charitable efforts on Oct. 28, allowing the Carriage House kids to join their classrooms. The use of the Timberline center allowed for the kids to enjoy a fun environment that mimicked a field trip and removed any concerns from the situation. We appreciate the efforts made by the executive director and staff of Timberline during our time of need and hope to return the favor someday. The Carriage House continued operation on Nov. 1 thanks in large part to the support of the Breckenridge Ski Resort. The resort allowed the students to attend the Peak 8 facility while awaiting final clearance to occupy the building. Breckenridge Ski Resort quick resolve to help out our kids provided our families with a solution in a time of questions. We thank the Breckenridge Ski Resort, Pat Campbell, and Kelly Da Silva for opening their doors and exemplifying the meaning of community.
