Carriage House thanks Mi Casa for fundraiser

Carriage House Early Learning Center

A great big thanks to Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant in Breckenridge for hosting and organizing the Cinco de Mayo event, which raised more than $20,000 for the Carriage House Early Learning Center.

We appreciate Julie Mattos, Dick Carleton, Scott “Plugger” Pietsch, Sean Little (head chef) and all the staff at Mi Casa who donated their time and hard work to raise funds for the organization.

The evening was fun for the 600 people who attended the festive event in celebration of Mexican heritage.

All the proceeds from the ticket sales, silent auction and bar were generously donated to the organization, which will go to the operation and capital improvement fund.

The Carriage House Early Learning Center is a nonprofit, which offers services to its 125 enrolled children ranging in age from 8 weeks to 5 years old.

We also want to extend a big thank you to all the Carriage House families, local businesses and services that donated about 175 silent auction items. We are very fortunate to have such a caring community that supports our nonprofits.
