Celebrate Festival of the Brewpubs Sunday at A-Basin

ARAPAHOE BASIN ” On Sunday Arapahoe Basin will be hosting its sixth annual Festival of the Brewpubs. Five local Summit County breweries will be on site, sampling their favorite handcrafted ales. Brewpubs include Backcountry, Breckenridge, Dillon Dam, Pug Ryan’s and Wolf Rock.

A $15, 14-ounce souvenir mug can be purchased for unlimited tasting from noon to 4 p.m. or while supplies last.

A DJ from Jamin’ Sounds will be spinning tunes in the base area from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Live music starts at 1 p.m. with reggae artist, Jubal on the ticket office steps.

A-Basin is open from top to bottom with a 53-inch midway base.

Free soda and water will be available for designated drivers during the Festival of the Brewpubs. Dogs must be on a leash. Helmets are not required for this event.

Arapahoe Basin’s closing date is set for June 3.
