Celebrate the horse Sunday with EVHR

EAGLE – Join the Eagle Valley Horse Rescue (EVHR) in celebrating the horse at the third annual Equine Educational Extravaganza. Sponsored by the Lucky HorseShoe 4-H Club, the event will be held at the Eagle County Fairgrounds on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. Featured at the event will be a full day of equine demonstrations beginning at 10 a.m. At 11 a.m. there will be lectures, shopping, a used tack sale, information on equine health and a horse sale. Attendees can also meet the newest additions to the Eagle Valley Horse Rescue – Deracz, a 15-year-old Polish Arabian gelding, Grady, a 5-year-old QH gelding and Maverick, a 5-year-old Mustang gelding. Enjoy a carriage ride around the fairgrounds, get a picture taken with Andy, the miniature horse, meet the Beaver Creek and Eagle County Rodeo Queens or let the Horse Rangers 4-H club satisfy your appetite with plenty of delicious food.
