Chamber to host Fitz-Gerald

The Summit County Chamber of Commerce will host State Sen. Joan Fitz-Gerald Tuesday during a meeting of the organization’s Legislative Affairs Council, 9-10:30 a.m. at the Summit County Community and Senior Center near Frisco. Fitz-Gerald is expected to discuss how this year’s legislative session impacted the state’s businesses and mountain communities. She will also discuss Referendums C & D that will be presented to voters in November. Also during the meeting, local businessman Carlos Abel will present “Small Business in Times of Crisis,” and Christina Carlson of the Family and Intercultural Resource Center will present “Summit County’s Immigration Plan.”
