St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in Frisco recommends that children under age 18 avoid visiting the hospital and senior living facilities due to H1N1 concerns, said Andrea Jensen, a marketing and public relations coordinator for Centura Health, in an e-mail. And visitors of any age who are displaying flu symptoms should avoid entering the hospital facilities, unless they are patients.

“We are taking this step to protect the health of our patients and staff, so that we can continue to provide the best care possible for our patients and the people in our communities,” said a Centura Health press release. “These recommendations are consistent with what many other Colorado hospitals are implementing or are considering.”
