‘Chill the Drills: Oil development and Climate Change in America’s Arctic’

The Blue River Group Sierra Club will be showing a slide show presentation specifically focused on climate change and oil development in the Arctic on May 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Silverthorne Library.

This presentation is entitled “Chill the Drills: Oil development and Climate Change in America’s Arctic.” The presentation offers the Arctic as a microcosm of the realities that society at large faces with regard to climate change, oil dependency and the importance of protecting our last wild and pristine places.
