Choral Society benefit March 2
February 17, 2008
The Summit Elks Lodge is serving an old-fashioned buffet breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausages, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, coffee, orange juice, muffins, home fried potatoes, Belgian waffles, cereals, fresh fruit, green chili and a cash bar for Bloody Marys) as a benefit for both the lodge and the Summit Choral Society from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 2. Tickets in advance from Choral Society members or at the Lodge north of Silverthorne are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. The lodge and the chorus will split the proceeds, but the lodge will buy, prepare, serve and pay for the ingredients out of its share as the host and sponsor of the event.
