Christmas Eve and Christmas Day church services around Summit County

Churches around Summit County will host Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and other special services for a variety of denominations this holiday season.

BRECKENRIDGE

• Breckenridge Christian Ministries (103 Sawmill Road, (970) 453-9393) will host its Children’s Ministry Christmas Pageant on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 9:15 a.m. and a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24.

• Christ Lutheran Church (16072 State Highway 9, (970) 453-8019) will hold Christmas Eve services at 5 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, and Christmas Day service at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 25.

• Father Dyer United Methodist Church (310 Wellington Road, (970) 453-2250) will host a Christmas Cantata at 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 21. On Christmas Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 24, the church will have a Family Christmas Celebration service at 3:30 p.m. and Carols & Candlelight at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Carols (nursery available) and Communion & Candlelight at 9:30 p.m.

• Great Divide Calvary Chapel (107 Denison Placer Road, (970) 470-2877) will host a Family Candlelight Christmas Eve service at 5:30 p.m. at Colorado Mountain College on Wednesday, Dec. 24.

• St. John’s Episcopal Church (100 S. French St., (970) 453-4264) will hold Christmas Eve services on Wednesday, Dec. 24, at 3 and 5 p.m. (family services) and 7 and 9 p.m. and a Christmas Day service at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 25.

• St. Mary’s Catholic Church (109 S. French St., (970) 668-3141) will host Christmas Eve services at 4, 6 (Mass for families with young children), 8 and 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, and Christmas Day services at 8 and 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 25.

• The Church at Agape Outpost (15404 State Highway 9, (970) 453-1247) will host Christmas Eve services at 5, 7 and 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24.

COPPER MOUNTAIN

• Copper Mountain Community Church (630 Copper Mountain Road, (970) 262-1080) will hold two Christmas Eve Candlelight Services at the Copper Chapel at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, and Catholic Mass will be held on Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25, at 5:15 p.m. at the Copper Chapel.

DILLON

• Dillon Community Church (371 E. LaBonte St., (970) 468-2461) will host Christmas Eve Candlelight Services at 4 and 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24.

• Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church (56 U.S. Highway 6 and Evergreen Road, (970) 468-6809) will hold three services on Christmas Eve, a Family Service with Communion at 5 p.m. and services of Communion, Carols and Candlelight at 7 and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24.

A Christmas Day service of Communion and Carol Singing will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 25.

• St. Dunstan’s Anglican Church (40 Cove Blvd, Suite B-1, (970) 262-3604) will host a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24.

FRISCO

• Rocky Mountain Bible Church (Sixth and Main, (970) 668-3395) will hold a Christmas Candlelight Service on Wednesday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m.

KEYSTONE

• Summit Resort Ministries will host a Christmas Eve service at the Keystone Conference Center (0633 Tennis Club Road, (970) 668-8329) in the Shavano Room at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24.

• St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Our Lady of Peace will host a Christmas Eve Mass at the Keystone Conference Center (0633 Tennis Club Road, (970) 668-3141) at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24.

SILVERTHORNE

• Our Lady of Peace (89 Smith Ranch Road, (970) 668-3141) will host a Christmas Eve Mass and pageant at 6 p.m. for families with young children, an 8 p.m. Spanish Mass, a 10 p.m. Mass and a Polish Midnight Mass on Wednesday, Dec. 24. The church will also hold Christmas Day Mass at 8 and 10 a.m.
