Christmas tree recycling service

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Summit County Boy Scout Troop 188 will be offering a Christmas Tree Recycling Service this Saturday, January 5 and January 6. The scouts will be picking up Christmas trees from your home (you don’t need to be there) and taking them to a local tree recycling center. The trees will be used for mulch next spring or for a community event. No needles, no mess. Suggested donation: $5-10. One hundred percent of your donation will be used to support equipment purchases and for educational scouting activities. For more information and/or to schedule tree pickup, call (970) 333-9535.
