Christmas tree recycling sites

Daily News staff report

Dillon is recycling Christmas trees and wreaths at the Dillon Town Hall.

Trees and wreaths should be cleaned of all decorations and hardware before they are dropped off. The drop-off site is at the back corner of the town hall parking lot.

Dillon Town Hall is located on Lake Dillon Drive across from the Conoco Station and just past the Lake Dillon Fire Department.

All trees and wreaths will be turned into mulch. The service is provided by the Dillon Public Works Department and is free of charge.

Tree and wreath recycling will be ongoing throughout the month of January. For more information, call (970) 468-2403.

Frisco’s drop-off site is off Eighth Street near the Frisco Fire Station in southeast Frisco. Breckenridge’s site is near the stables on Wellington Road, off County Road 450.

Keystone’s drop-off is off Highway 6 on Decatur Hill Road. The site is a dirt parking lot at the bottom of the hill on the left side, available through late January.

Silverthorne is accepting trees through Jan. 11 just south of the Silverthorne Joint Sewer Facility.
