Chuck Tolton: a good leader at Keystone

Kelly GaroutteFairplay

On Friday, I found out that Chuck Tolton, director of operations of Keystone Resort, turned in his resignation. Saturday was a very sad day for the employees, merchants and most of all friends that recognize all he has done for this community and resort. It is a shame that large companies fail to recognize employees as valuable as Chuck. I am not an employee of the resort; however, working near the resort I have seen the transformation that took place when he came on board more than four years ago. Not only has he been a huge force with the BOEC, the U.S. Ski Team and an ally for many departments, Chuck, more than anything was an ally for the employee.
