Clean up after dogs; keep bikes on bike paths

An editorial Wednesday called for keeping dogs off the bike paths. I would vote for people cleaning up after their dogs EVERYWHERE.

Moreover, I’d like to see bikes kept off the roadway when there is a perfectly good bike path in sight.

A couple weeks ago, some organization held a bicycle event that started before sun-up, and there were droves of bikes on Highway 9 while the bike paths were empty.

When event planners ask permission to run these bike tours, the cities and counties should demand that wherever possible, bike paths would be used instead of roadways.
