CMC Breckenridge students to stage climate strike on Sept. 20

Students at Colorado Mountain College Breckenridge will stage a protest march on Friday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m in solidarity with the global “climate strike” movement.

The peaceful protest intends to demand action, build solidarity and encourage conversation on climate change. The climate strike is being organized by CMC Breckenridge and its student-led Green Team.

The march will begin in the parking lot at CMC Breckenridge, located at 107 Denison Placer Road, will proceed south along Airport Road and end on Main Street in downtown Breckenridge.
