Been meaning to sign up for a course in Powerpoint presentations? How about a daylong course in backcountry navigation or Colorado history?

The Summit Campus Colorado Mountain College course catalog for the spring semester is now available. Registration begins Monday for the new semester – Jan. 12 through May.

In addition to liberal arts and business courses, CMC has a variety of practical, recreational and professional courses available next semester. Such courses include ski area operations, small business workshops, women in investing, Quickbooks, firefighting, ice climbing, childhood development, ceramics, belly dancing and guitar.

U.S. Postal Service customers in Summit County received the new catalog. Additional catalogs can be picked up at the Breckenridge Center, 103 South Harris St. in Breckenridge, or at the Dillon Center, 333 Fiedler Ave.
