CMC offers watercolor workshop

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Watercolor painter Ann Weaver will give a two-day workshop through the Center for Lifelong Learning at Colorado Mountain College from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday at the CMC Breckenridge campus. The class is open to all levels of adult students. Some previous drawing and painting instruction is recommended, but experience with watercolor is not essential. Weaver has taught watercolor at CMC since 1992. Her class concentrates on the difference between watercolor technique and other paint mediums. Landscape subjects are explored, and demonstration paintings by the artist are included. Some outside painting is planned, weather permitting. To register, call (970) 453-6757, or sign up in person at the Breckenridge or Dillon Campus of CMC. A suggested materials list will be provided at the time of registration.
