CMC presents Tour de France primer tonight

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

The most famous bike race in the world starts this weekend, and Colorado Mountain College-Breckenridge is offering a special primer on the Tour de France – what to anticipate, what to watch and what it all means. Mixing personal impressions from along the tour route with the latest news and history, Silverthorne resident Steve Lipsher will guide you through the cobblestone villages and the high passes of the Alps in an entertaining and engaging multimedia presentation. Topics to be covered include racing tactics, memorable stories and the larger-than-life personalities from tours past and present, plus a breakdown of what this year’s race promises. The 90-minute course will begin at 7 p.m. tonight at CMC-Breck. Cost is $10 per person. For more information, contact (970) 453-6757 or aseidler@coloradomtn.edu.
