Cody Wieland plaque fund open

The family and friends of the late Cody Wieland request public help with a donation to purchase a plaque on a bench in Breckenridge in his memory.Jocelan Martell, Wieland’s mother, said an account has been opened at Alpine Bank in the name, “Cody Wieland Memorial,” and donations of all sizes are welcomed. “Donations small and large are welcomed. Your help is greatly appreciated,” Martell said.Wieland died in November 2002 after a Halloween night beating. Three men have been convicted in the incident.
