Colin Carman: Egregious prudery in Dillon

The Denver Post reported on Sunday http://www.denverpost.com/theater/ci_15177621 what some in the community had already heard: a disgruntled theatergoer actually called 911 to complain that a production of “The Little Dog Laughed” at the Lake Dillon Theatre Company featured onstage nudity. This was both an egregious misuse of 911 services and frankly, an embarrassing way for Summit County to wind up in the news. I applaud artistic director Christopher Alleman for bravely bringing works of art to the mountains that challenge as well as delight audiences.
