Colo. Senate holds hearing on handsfree talking

DENVER A bill requiring drivers to use handsfree devices is set to get its first hearing in the Colorado Senate on Monday.Adult drivers would have to use the devices while talking on cell phones under House Bill 1094. Drivers under 18 wouldnt be able to talk or text on cell phones while driving.The Senate State, Veterans & Military Affairs Committee will take testimony from the public and then decide whether to send the bill to the full Senate for a vote.The bill has already been approved by the House. Members there voted to exempt emergency workers and parcel delivery drivers.
