Colorado Department of Public Health adds monkeypox dashboard to website

Recently, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has created a monkeypox data dashboard on its website.

The dashboard includes statistics from the state and county level.

At the county level, if there are zero cases, “0” will be displayed. If there are one to three confirmed cases, “3” will be displayed. Four cases or over will display the current number.

To ensure privacy, demographics will be provided on a “summary basis,” according to the news release. When released, the data will include statistics on race, ethnicity, age, gender and sexual orientation.

The dashboard can be found by scrolling down on the main webpage of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment at CDPHE.Colorado.gov.

The full project is expected to cost about $165,000. All donations made in 2023 will go directly toward this project.
