Colorado Department of Transportation to host information session for Dillon/Silverthorne mobility study

The Colorado Department of Transportation will be hosting an open house for its mobility study in Dillon and Silverthorne at U.S. Route 6 and Colorado Highway 9 at the Silverthorne Pavilion on Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 4-7 p.m. The study, which began January 2023, focuses on improving safety and operations along the U.S. Route 6 and Colorado Highway 9 corridors. With traffic projected to increase by 45% by 2045, the study emphasizes efficient traffic flow, enhanced accessibility, community collaboration, sustainability and safety improvements.

The open house will provide stakeholders with information about the study that examined traffic conditions from the Interstate 70, Exit 205 interchange to Hamilton Creek Road and to Lake Dillon Drive, including considerations of the Wildernest Road/Stephens Way loop.
