Colorado man charged with arson at Jackson hotel


JACKSON, Wyo. – A Colorado man stands accused of starting a fire in a crowded Jackson motel.Court records say 57-year-old Charles William Millen of Longmont, Colo., told Teton County investigators he intentionally started a fire Wednesday at the Teton Gables Hotel.The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports 40 people evacuated the motel but no one was injured. Damage was limited mainly to Millen’s room.Millen was arrested in Sublette County near Pinedale after the fire.Teton County prosecutors charged Millen with first-degree arson on Thursday.The Longmont (Colo.) Times-Call reports Colorado authorities also want Millen in connection with a Sunday fire at his home in Longmont.Millen is jailed in Teton County. He declined Thursday to take a reporter’s phone call.
