Colorado Mountain College presents Student Art Show

LEADVILLE Art Students at Colorado Mountain College in Leadville will be featured in a Student Art Show from April 16-30 in the New Discovery Building, Timberline Campus. Work from the drawing class taught by Michael Chavez will be paired with pottery pieces by ceramic students taught by Marsha Carter. Both classes have been meeting all semester and students are excited to have their work on display. A Meet the Artist reception will be held to kick off the event on Monday, April 16, 2007 from 6 – 8 p.m. in the New Discovery Building, Timberline Campus, Leadville, Colorado. The public is invited to attend the event sponsored by Colorado Mountain College and the Leadville Arts Coalition. Chavez will be offering Drawing I, II & III and Community Clay classes facilitated by Marsha Carter are scheduled for the summer semester beginning in May.
