On Sunday, June 1, Arapahoe Basin Ski Area announced that Lake Reveal — a naturally occurring body of water — has become visible to skiers and riders.

According to chief operating officer Al Henceroth, the lake became visible on Saturday afternoon, May 31. Currently, the lake is quite small, but is expected to grow quickly as the sun beams down on the area.

A-Basin will remain closed through Thursday before reopening on Friday, June, 6. A-Basin is slated to close for the 2025-25 ski season on Sunday, June 8. However, if weather and conditions permit, A-Basin could push closing day to the following weekend from June 14-15.
