Colorado Wildlife Commission to host public meeting in Kremmling

Colorado Wildlife Commissioners Dorothea Farris and Allan Jones will hold a public meeting in Kremmling to get local input on wildlife issues. The meeting will be held at the CSU Extension Hall, 210 11th St., on Thursday, May 20 from 6-8 p.m. The meeting is open to anyone who wants to attend.

Commissioners Farris and Jones will give a brief update on issues the Wildlife Commission is addressing, such as the effort to approve a new five-year fishing regulation structure.

The Colorado Wildlife Commission is an 11-member board appointed by the governor. The Commission sets Colorado Division of Wildlife regulations and policies for hunting, fishing, watchable wildlife, and non-game, threatened and endangered species. Commissioners also oversee Division of Wildlife land purchases and property regulations.
