Colorado woman injured after striking tree at Keystone

KEYSTONE – A 45-year-old Colorado woman was flown from Keystone Ski Resort to Denver Saturday after she apparently struck a tree while skiing on the River Run trail, an intermediate run.Ski patrollers aided her and took her to Keystone Medical Center before she was flown via Flight for Life helicopter to St. Anthony’s Central Hospital in Denver. The woman, who has not yet been identified, suffered head injuries. She was not wearing a helmet.
