Breckenridge once again reclaimed the world record for the longest shot-ski at this year’s Ullr Fest.
The Colorado ski destination has battled rival ski town Park City, Utah, for the unofficial world record, with the two towns attempting to best each other each year. Breckenridge reclaimed the world record last week when 1,401 people lined up on Main Street to take shots mounted on 503 skis that were connected end to end, totaling 2,477 feet in length.
Park City had set the previous record in October when 1,385 people went bottoms up together while secured to about 550 conjoined skis. That beat the 1,377 people who joined in the shot-ski at Ullr Fest in Breckenridge last year.
