Come to NIA class

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

NIA class is a joyful and playful way for adults to get a hearty aerobic workout. This new class at the Silverthorne Recreation Center combines dance, martial arts and healing arts (such as yoga) to improve balance, coordination and strength. No prior movement or dance experience is necessary – you can’t help but move to the world music. Class is scheduled for Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. For more information and to sign up (required by Jan. 16), call the rec center at (970) 262-7370. The six-week series starts Jan. 17.
