Comedy trio entertains in Silverthorne Friday

Special to the Daily

SILVERTHORNE – The Denver-based A.C.E. Improv Comedy Trio will perform at the Silverthorne Pavilion Friday – the troupe’s first time performing in the area.

The event will be “a Saint Patrick’s Day alternative to the typical crowded bar and green beer,” said Maggie Butler, Silverthorne Pavilion coordinator.

The members of A.C.E. include an American, a Canadian and an Englishman, who take their audience on a wild ride with comedy, music and general silliness.

A.C.E. was formed by commercial actors Linda Klein, Barbara Gehring and Matthew Taylor in 1998 and has traveled the world with their act. The threesome has produced a television pilot, recently made their national television debut on “Across America” and released their first sketch comedy CD in anticipation of their jump to radio. Friday’s performance wraps up the Silverthorne Pavilion’s concert programming for the season. The show starts at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $15 and on sale at the Silverthorne Recreation Center, (970) 262-7370. Tickets are $18 at the door.
