Comfort Dental Care Day provides free procedures to Summit locals

summit daily news

SILVERTHORNE – Comfort Dental in Silverthorne is hosting its third annual free Care Day – serving Summit County residents in need of dental work. It’s set for Thursday from 7:30-11 a.m.

According to Comfort Dental receptionist Kay Robinson, 38 people were served at the Care Day last year. In 2007, 35 were served.

“I really do think it’s going to be more popular than last year,” she said.

Care Day patients are helped on a first-come, first-served basis, Robinson said. And patients can receive a variety of basic dental care, from cleanings to extractions. More serious dental problems are handled on a case-by-base basis, and in some cases appointments may have to be scheduled.

“We do one free procedure, per person,” Robinson said. She also noted that each partner in the office is aiming to serve 25 patients.

Dentists John Rollow and Lorraine Loustalet will be on site for Care Day.
